Can you write me a prescription?

No, I am not a doctor and I cannot write you prescriptions for medications.

When can I quit my medication?

This discussion will need to take place between you and your medical provider. Quitting medications may cause serious side effects. I am never going to tell a client when it is time to quit his/her/their medication.

Can I take herbs and medication at the same time?

Yes and no. Some herbs may react or potentiate certain medications while others have no known history of reaction. We can discuss any concerns you have at your appointment.

Do you take Health Insurance?

Sadly no, but if you have a Health Savings Plan I can take that!

I AM PREGNANT. CAN I STILL TAKE HERBS AND MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?

There is a lot of controversy surrounding herbs and pregnancy. While much of it is unfounded and many herbs are acceptable to take during pregnancy, I do not take on pregnant clients or nursing mothers. When your nursing period is complete, I am more than happy to see you for a session.

I have Cancer. Can you treat me?

I am not qualified to offer you replacement cancer treatment. What I can offer you is herbal recommendations that may help alleviate your symptoms during treatment or before/after treatment. I always recommend discussing herbs with your oncologist or medical team before taking them.

I’ve left you a lot of personal information about my health and my life. Is it safe with you?

I believe in protecting my clients privacy and any medical information you choose to share. No one may request your information from me without your written approval.

i forgot about my appointment but have already pre-paid. can i get my money back?

I do not offer refunds on missed appointments or No Call/ No Shows. I am willing to reschedule your missed appointment once at no charge, as I do know life happens, but recurrently missed appointments will not be rescheduled for free.
